Bristol Sports and Sporting Facilities
Bristol as a City has a great deal to offer the sports lover, with two league Football clubs, a Premiership Rugby club, a county Cricket team and more there is plenty to please fans of most sports.

Football
Based at the Ashton Gate Stadium, just minutes from the City Centre, Bristol City currently play in League 1.
Bristol Rovers, currently share the Memorial Stadium with Bristol Rugby Club, having moved from their previous ground (Eastville Stadium) near the City Centre back in 1986. Bristol Rovers are competing in League 2.
Rugby
Bristol Rugby, currently playing in the Guinness Premiership are near the top of the table (at the time of writing) and have been competing at this level frequently in recent years. Ground-sharing with Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium their local rivals include Bath Rugby and Gloucester Rugby clubs.
Cricket

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is the most successful one-day side of the last 10 years, their achievement in winning seven trophies in just five years is second to none. Gloucestershire currently play the majority of their games at the County Ground, Nevil Road, Bristol.
